Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that Female Buffalo, Ecko Kirk, has committed to SAIT College (ACAC) in Calgary, AB for the 2021-22 season. Ecko plans to take Nutrition for Healthy Lifestyles and hopefully move into SAITs Paramedic Program.

Ecko played 53 games in a Buffaloes uniform, finishing her career with 5 points and 32 penalty minutes over her two seasons in Pilot Mound (2019-2021).

A message from PMHA Co-Head Coach, Brad Platt:

“Congratulations to Ecko on your recent commitment to further your education and play hockey at SAIT in Calgary, Alberta. We are all super proud of you. I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching Ecko for the past two seasons here at the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy. Coming here from the Yukon would have been a big adjustment for most but not for Ecko. Her big smile, work ethic, and caring attitude will help Ecko achieve her goals.”

“Ecko plays defense for the Pilot Mound Female Buffaloes and has improved so much since she came here two years ago. She is tough to beat 1 on 1, see’s the ice well, and is tough as nails. Good luck Ecko, keep smiling and keep working hard. I have full confidence you will succeed. SAIT is lucky to get you and you will be missed here at PMHA.”
