MALE ADVANCEMENT – CASEY CASTLEBERRY

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that Male U18 Prep Buffalo, Casey Castleberry, has committed to the North Okanagan Nights (KIJHL) in Armstrong, BC for the 2023-24 season.

Quote from PMHA Goalie Coach, Gordie Tumilson:

My biggest regret was only having one season with Casey as a U18 starting goalie.  His new team is fortunate to have him in their system!  We found Casey in Saskatchewan Academy hockey, playing at the AA level.  With his ‘no-fooling-around’ promise of dedicated focus and hard work on and off the ice, Casey immediately showed he was the AAA-caliber goalie I initially felt he could be!  An honour student at PMCI, this quiet, dedicated young man put in motion an exceptional season. Casey thrived in our unique, caring development program not only as a player but as an accepted person.  Casey gave us every second of his time and every ounce of his energy as a proud caring Buffalo player.  He was rewarded by many Junior A teams on both sides of the 49th parallel considering him as a ‘real’ prospect going forward.  Casey is a good one!”

Casey played in 1576 minutes in a Buffaloes uniform, finishing the season with a Save Percentage of 0.8624.  Congratulations Casey, and best of luck next season!
