Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is an academic-based (Hockey Canada Registered Sports School), 10-month hockey program located in Pilot Mound, Manitoba. PMHA is your world class academic and hockey training facility created to maximize each students athletic and academic potential.

It is PMHA’s intention to continue to grow our academy as a highly successful entity, developing elite hockey players; grounded in academics and most importantly developing overall good human beings. Pilot Mound Hockey Academy fosters the ability to work as part of a team environment. Players leaving PMHA will have gained strong leadership capabilities to support them throughout their eventual life pathways.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce that three year female student-athlete, Julia Schoonbaert, has committed to Lindenwood University Lions (ACHA – D1) in St. Charles, Missouri starting in the 2024-25 season. A message from PMHA’s Female U18 Prep Head Coach, Ryan Carels: “Julia is one player that always brings a positive attitude to the rink with a big smile and usually a few giggles. FEMALE ADVANCEMENT – CARYS WYTINCK

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce that second year female student-athlete, Carys Wytinck, has committed to the Indiana Tech Warriors (ACHA – D1) in Fort Wayne, Indiana starting in the 2024-25 season. A message from PMHA’s Female U18 Prep Head Coach, Ryan Carels: “TBD” Carys played in 93 games as a Buffalo, scoring 7 goals and totalling 17 points. She also took 30 penalty minutes across two seasons. Congratulations Carys, and best of luck next season!

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce that Female Buffalo, Piper Miller, has committed to the Marion University Sabres (NCAA – D3) in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin starting in the 2024-25 season. The academy prepares 4 competitive hockey teams and its players in a small town setting. Well educated, well coached, well trained players becoming successful and embracing the physical and mental preparation necessary in all aspects of life.
