MALE ADVANCEMENT – CHADRICK SCHULZ

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce that Male U17 Prep forward, Chadrick Schulz, has officially signed his Letter of Intent with the Dryden Ice Dogs (SIJHL) for the 2025–26 season.

Chad’s growth, consistency, and commitment over his time in the Black and Yellow have made him a standout within the program and a deserving athlete of this next step in his hockey career.

A message from PMHA’s Male U17 Prep Head Coach, Rick McConnell:

“Chadrick has been a tremendous presence for our U17 Prep group this season. He brings a strong work ethic, a competitive edge, and a willingness to do the hard things that help teams win hockey games. Chad plays with purpose — he forechecks hard, battles for pucks, and shows real maturity in how he approaches his development.

His growth this year has been impressive. He has become more confident with the puck, more assertive in his decision‑making, and more consistent in his overall game. Chad is a great teammate, a coachable player, and someone who represents our program with pride. The Dryden Ice Dogs are getting a young man who is ready to take the next step, and I’m excited to see where his work ethic takes him.”

Chad joined the Buffaloes for the 2024–25 season and quickly established himself as a reliable, high‑compete forward. In CSSHL regular‑season play, he appeared in 32 games, recording 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points, along with 18 penalty minutes. His ability to play with pace, pressure opponents, and contribute in key moments made him an important part of the U17 Prep lineup.

He continued that strong play into the postseason, adding 1 goal and 1 assist in 4 playoff games, helping PMHA push through a competitive championship bracket and become a CSSHL U17 Prep Tier II Champion!

Chad’s commitment to the Dryden Ice Dogs marks an exciting next chapter in his hockey journey. His combination of work ethic, physical play, and steady development aligns well with the demands of junior hockey, and PMHA is proud to see him take this next step.

Congratulations, Chad — the entire Buffaloes community is behind you as you move on to the SIJHL. Best of luck next season!
