Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to recognize Male U18 Prep student-athlete, Zackary David, for his commitment to the Butte Irish (NA3HL).
A goaltender from Riverview, New Brunswick, Zackary has established himself as one of the hardest-working and most competitive athletes in the PMHA Male U18 Prep program. Throughout the season, he has demonstrated a relentless drive to improve, a fierce compete level, and the mental toughness required to excel in one of hockey’s most demanding positions.
A message from PMHA Male U18 Prep Head Coach, Anthony Florentino:
“Zackary embodies everything you want in a goaltender. His compete level is exceptional, and he gives our team a chance to win every time he steps on the ice. He is a battler who never quits on a puck and never backs down from a challenge.
What stands out most about Zack is his determination and resilience. Goaltending is a position that demands mental strength, and he has consistently shown the ability to stay focused, learn from adversity, and continue pushing himself to get better. His work ethic and commitment to development have been outstanding throughout the year.
The Butte Irish are getting a goaltender who competes at an extremely high level and will do everything he can to help his team succeed. We are proud of Zack and excited to see him continue his hockey journey in the NA3HL.”
Zackary’s development throughout the season has been a reflection of his commitment to his craft. Whether in practices, games, video sessions, or off-ice training, he has approached every opportunity with professionalism and a desire to improve. His ability to make key saves in crucial moments and remain composed under pressure has earned the trust of his teammates and coaching staff.

His commitment to the Butte Irish is a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and dedication he has displayed throughout his time at Pilot Mound Hockey Academy. Zackary will bring a strong work ethic, competitive mindset, and team-first attitude to the NA3HL as he continues pursuing his hockey goals.
