MALE ADVANCEMENT – AUSTIN POLONOSKI

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is excited to announce that our graduating student-athlete, Austin Polonoski, has officially committed to the Humboldt Broncos (SJHL) in Humboldt, Saskatchewan for the 2025-26 season. Over the past two years, Austin’s dedication, hard work, and exceptional talent have been evident both on and off the ice.

A message from PMHA’s Male U18 Prep Head Coach, Anthony Florentino:

“Austin joined Pilot Mound two years ago with the clear ambition of advancing to Junior A hockey and ultimately NCAA. His outstanding work ethic, unwavering drive, and steadfast commitment are evident in every aspect of his game and personal life. I am confident that Austin will thrive with Humboldt and continue to excel in his hockey career.

As the captain of our team, Austin demonstrates exemplary leadership on the ice and is a pillar in our community. His dedication extends beyond the rink; every Tuesday, he visits the nursing home to engage with residents through card games. Humboldt is fortunate to have Austin, not only as an exceptional hockey player but also as an extraordinary individual.”

A message from Humboldts Head Coach and GM, Brayden Klimosko:

“Austin is a big power forward who can make a lot of plays. The SJHL is a very physical league, and Austin won’t back down from that style of play and he will also be able to chip in offensively instantly as a young player. We’re very excited he chose the Broncos to continue his hockey path.”

Austin has played in 80 games thus far as a Buffalo, scoring 29 goals and totalling 95 points across 2 seasons. He also took 50 penalty minutes.

Congratulations Austin, and best of luck next season!
