Pilot Mound Hockey Academy Announces Coaching Staff for Male U15 Prep Program. Colin Fafara and Tyson McConnell will lead the Male U15 Prep team for the 2023/24 season. 

Colin comes to PMHA from Philadelphia and the Ed Snider Hockey Foundation where he is currently a coach, skills coach, goalie coach, and rink coordinator. Colin’s prior coaching experience includes Rowan University, USA Hockey Camps, and Philadelphia Flyers Elite, with experience coaching all levels of hockey from ages 5 to college. Colin also holds a B.S in Sport and Recreation Management and holds USA 4 coaching certification.

Tyson comes to PMHA after finishing his playing career after an extensive career with the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL and the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks of OUA – USports Hockey. In the spring of 2023, Tyson graduated from the Faculty of Health Science Kinesiology (Honours).  As Tyson transitions away from his playing days, he wishes to help future student-athletes achieve their dreams.
