Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is excited to announce the coaching staff for the Male U15 Prep team for the upcoming season. We are proud to have Colin Fafara and Brad Platt leading the program, bringing their expertise and dedication to the development of our student-athletes.
Colin Fafara, head coach, returns to Pilot Mound Hockey Academy for his second season. Colin comes from Philadelphia, where he gained extensive coaching experience with the Ed Snider Hockey Foundation as a coach, skills coach, goalie coach, and rink coordinator. His prior coaching roles include working with Rowan University, USA Hockey Camps, and Philadelphia Flyers Elite, coaching players from ages 5 to college. Colin holds a B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management and a USA Hockey Level 4 coaching certification. His passion for skill development and mentorship makes him an invaluable asset to the Male U15 Prep program.
Brad Platt, assistant coach, re-joins Pilot Mound Hockey Academy after taking a leave of absence last season. Brad’s hockey journey began in Pilot Mound, where he played his minor hockey before advancing to the Selkirk Steelers and Southeast Blades. His coaching experience spans various levels of the game, including minor hockey and AAA teams for both male and female players. Most recently, Brad coached the PMHA Female U18 program. Brad’s dedication to the community and his commitment to advancing the academy’s programs make him a key contributor to the Male U15 Prep team.
With Colin and Brad at the helm, the Male U15 Prep team is set for a season of growth, development, and success. Their leadership and passion will inspire our athletes to excel both on and off the ice.
