Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that Male U18 Prep Buffalo, Miles Gordon, has committed to the Powassan Voodoos (NOJHL) in Powassan, ON for the 2023-24 season.

“What a wonderful young man and solid-quality goalie Miles Gordon is.  Never in all my time in sports have I met a more genuine, friendly, helping, caring player.  A credit to his upbringing, previous coaches, and ‘parents’!  When I saw him play for his, at the time, u15 BC academy team and checked out his personality etc I got to our GM Rod Collins immediately!  We need to have this player.  He’s a good goalie, honour student, and a better person.  We have not, for one moment, been disappointed in his playing for & living as a PMHA Buffalo for the past 2 years.

Miles will represent his new NOJHL team / league / parents in his own exceptional fashion and play a main role in the team’s game success.  I couldn’t be happier for any player I have had the pleasure to get to know and provide a bit of guidance toward!  Congratulations, Miles!”

Miles played in 1124 minutes in the Black and Yellow uniform, finishing the season with a Save Percentage of 0.8571.  Congratulations Miles, and best of luck next season!
