Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that Male U17 Buffalo, Kian Hodgins, has committed to the Adirondack Jr Thunder (EHLP) in Glens Falls, New York for the 2022-23 season.

“When U17 Male Assistant coach Ernie Sutherland 1st identified Kian we really thought we had a special goalie in sight! Once we landed him and let him loose against the rest of the CSSHL; both the league and our program confirmed we in deed had a very ‘special’ player. He was a really good student at school and a super student of hockey. ‘Hodgie’ turned heads every time he played. He gained a level of focus / confidence that won him Best Goalie nomination amongst 20+ teams on a very sub par Buffaloes squad. My biggest compliment – Would have loved to have him back performing his game in and game out goalie magic”…!
Kian played in 26 games as a Buffalo this season. He had a GAA of 4.85 and a SV% of 89.97%. Kian was nominated for the Male U17 Prep Goaltender of the year in the CSSHL. Congratulations Kian, and best of luck next season!
