Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that second year Male U18 Prep student-athlete, James Sauer, has committed to the Kam River Fighting Walleye (SIJHL) in Thunder Bay, ON for the 2024-25 season.
Comments from PMHA Male U18 Prep Head Coach/Strength Coach, Anthony Florentino:
“I got to work with James this past year and it was an absolute pleasure. James was on the ice early always working on fine tuning his craft and trying to develop more and more everyday. James is an exceptional person and leader and wears his heart on his sleeve. Nobody was more proud to be PMHA than James Sauer. His game took a complete turn everyday and seeing where he finished the year compared to the beginning shows how hard James worked. Kam River is lucky to have someone like James.”
Comments from PMHA Male U18 Prep Assistant Coach/Recruiter, Isaac Friesen:
“James Sauer has played with our U18 prep program for two years, and he was a great student athlete during that time. He came to the rink every day with a great work ethic to get better and was a great teammate. We wish James the best of luck next year as he moves on to play Junior A in Canada. ”
James had 9 points in the 86 games played in the Black and Yellow uniform. He also took 40 penalty minutes. Congratulations James, and best of luck next season!
