MALE ADVANCEMENT – CALEB DEBRUYNE

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce that graduating student athlete, Caleb Debruyne, has committed to the New Mexico Ice Wolves (NAHL) in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the 2025-26 season.

A message from PMHA’s Male U18 Prep Head Coach, Anthony Florentino: 

“Caleb has been an absolute cornerstone for our team, both on and off the ice. His maturity off the ice seamlessly translates into his gameplay. His relentless competitive spirit, tenacity, and physicality perfectly embody the qualities of a true warrior and competitor, evident in every single shift. 

This year, Caleb has played an indispensable role as one of our captains. His leadership and consistency are remarkable. Caleb not only delivers on the ice, but his dedication extends far beyond the rink. Academically, he excels in his studies, and socially, he is a positive influence and an active contributor to our community. He has embraced every opportunity to step up and make a difference.

We couldn’t be more thrilled for Caleb as he embarks on this next chapter. New Mexico is incredibly fortunate to have him, and they will undoubtedly appreciate the exceptional player and outstanding individual they are gaining. Caleb’s contributions will be felt day in and day out. New Mexico is not just getting a great athlete; they are gaining an extraordinary human being who will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact both on the ice and in the community. 

Caleb’s unwavering determination, strong character, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset. His passion for the game and his ability to inspire those around him truly set him apart. We are confident that Caleb will continue to achieve great things and make us proud.” 

A message from New Mexico’s Assistant Coach, Kyle McKenzie: 

“Caleb is an honest, hard nosed player.  We love his physicality and compete level.  He brings tons of energy along with a great attitude.  We look forward to having Caleb in an Ice Wolves jersey.”

Caleb has played in 37 games thus far as a Buffalo, scoring 5 goals and totalling 18 points. He also took 18 penalty minutes.
