FEMALE ADVANCEMENT – MCKAYLA ROMANO

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce that female student-athlete, Mckayla Romano has committed to the Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen (NCAA Div III) in Hershey, Pennsylvania for the 2025-26 academic year. 

A message from PMHA’s Female U18 Prep Head Coach, Ryan Carels: 

“Mckayla is an exceptionally skilled offensive forward with strong skating ability and a high level of talent. Her competitive edge, determination, and grit enable her to generate turnovers and win key battles on the ice. She is a disciplined and accountable player who thrives within a structured system, yet possesses the instinct and confidence to seize offensive opportunities when the moment arises.

As a senior-year player at Pilot Mound, Mckayla has made a significant impact in her time with us. She is a dedicated and hardworking athlete with clear ambition and well-defined goals. Her relentless drive and commitment to excellence ensure she will pursue every opportunity to achieve success.

Mckayla has played in 55 games as a Buffalo, scoring 20 goals and totalling 31 points across exhibition and league games.  She also took 50 penalty minutes in the Black and Yellow.
