FEMALE ADVANCEMENT – ALIA DRUMMOND

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce that two-year female student-athlete, Alia Drummond, has committed to the SAIT Warriors (ACAC) in Calgary, AB for the 2025-26 academic year. 

A message from PMHA’s Female U18 Prep Head Coach, Ryan Carels: 

“Alia exemplifies the ideal student-athlete, excelling both on and off the ice. She is an exceptional player and an outstanding individual. Her relentless competitiveness and determination make her highly effective in puck recovery and defensive play. Through dedication and focus, she has refined her skills, poise, and patience, enhancing her offensive capabilities and becoming a well-rounded player.

Her passion for hockey is undeniable—she embraces every aspect of the game, from workouts and practices to competition and team camaraderie. Alia consistently surpasses expectations, demonstrating leadership and accountability in every setting, including workouts and dorm life. She approaches challenges with a positive attitude and leads by example, helping to establish the standards of excellence required of a team captain in our program.

Alia has played in 70 games thus far as a Buffalo, scoring 18 goals and totalling 23 points across 2 seasons.  She also took 38 penalty minutes in the Black and Yellow. Alia’s season was cut short this winter due to a shoulder injury.
