Pilot Mound Hockey Academy Male U18 Prep Coaching Staff Announcement

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to announce the coaching staff for the Male U18 Prep team for the upcoming season. We are excited to have Anthony Florentino and Trevor Baker leading the program, bringing their extensive experience and passion for developing student-athletes.

Anthony Florentino, returning as head coach, has an impressive hockey background. After a successful seven-year professional career in the AHL, ECHL, and SPHL, Anthony transitioned into coaching, where he has continued to make a significant impact. His journey includes playing with the U17 USA National Team Development Program, earning a full scholarship to Providence College, and being drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 2013. Anthony’s dedication to skill development and mentorship makes him an invaluable part of Pilot Mound Hockey Academy.

Trevor Baker, assistant coach, brings a wealth of experience from his nine-year professional playing career, which included stints in the WHL, ECHL, IHL, AHL, UHL, and EIHL in England. Trevor’s leadership skills were exemplified during his time as team captain with the Peoria Rivermen. Since retiring, he has worked as a skill development coach, advisor, and coach, most recently serving as both an assistant and head coach with OHA Edmonton for the past four years. Trevor’s commitment to fostering growth and excellence in young athletes is perfectly aligned with Pilot Mound Hockey Academy’s values.

With Anthony and Trevor leading the way, the Male U18 Prep team is set for an incredible season filled with development, growth, and success. Their leadership will inspire our athletes to excel both on and off the ice.
